Founded by TCI faculty member Robert Lubell, Dare to Dream/Dare to Repair is an organization that provides an opportunity for you to use the skills you’re learning in the classroom in service to the community.

Their many activities include:

  • repairing and upgrading used computers which are then donated to community-based organizations or to needy families whose children are identified by local school officials.
  • repairing air-conditioners for needy families and the elderly.
  • coordinating food drives for local homeless shelters.
  • sponsoring a variety of entertainment and fundraising events for community-based organizations throughout the year.

The variety of Cultural Organizations at TCI reflects what you would expect at a college with a student body from nearly 100 different countries.

These groups provide support and a place to connect with other TCI students from your home country, or an opportunity to learn about someone else’s. A sampling of recently active cultural organizations includes:

  • Caribbean Club
  • Chinese Student Club
  • Club Latino
  • Haitian Student Organization
  • Indian Student Club
  • Korean Student Association
  • Muslim Student Club

The College's Chess Club is an affiliate of the United States Chess Federation (USCF) and provides opportunities for casual games as well as participation in college-wide tournaments. As a USCF affiliate they are also able to conduct nationally rated events.

The Multimedia Club provides an opportunity for you to network with others who are interested in multimedia and the latest in graphics. It’s a great place to share creative ideas and grow.

The TCI Players write, produce, direct and perform their own plays for the College and local area community.

TCI’s radio station, WDTD, is your destination if you’re interested in music and broadcasting. The station provides training for students who want to become DJs and promote new musical talent.
